(The Pre-Tribulation Rapture III)

bring to you the cure. I had not thought to be writing the third of these so quickly, but on this, the day of the Lord, His Spirit called me to write, giving me both the words and the images to relate to you regarding the doctrine we have been discussing. In my first letter, before even giving any evidence, I alluded to some questions I asked of Yah while in prayer. “What will they say, that so few believe this?” I asked. How will they accept it, when the whole world seems to be following the teachings of these great men (as the world judges greatness)? He gave me a temporary answer, which satisfied me enough that I should write the first two articles, but now today He gave me a more forceful reply.

As I prayed, I received a mighty sign of the events to come, and how it relates to one of the very first teachings of the Bible. It is not something everyone will accept, but for those who have problems with it, the first two articles are still there, as clear as I could make them, and directly from the Word of God. But for this third letter, the tone must be different. The arguments have been given, and just about all that logic and Scripture can do to convince a person have been attempted. Now this letter is to encourage the true believers, and to warn those who continue to cling to the traditions of men, rather than following the plain Word of the Father. This is the promise of Yah that he will protect us in the times of our greatest need.

No, there can be no compromise between light and darkness, for as I said in a previous section of my site, one of the very first things Yah did was to separate the two, an eternal sign that one cannot abide the other. (Gen 1:4) In spite of my own hesitation, I have been instructed to speak with authority here – not with the authority of men, as if it were by my own efforts that I know the truth, or by my own merits I am declared worthy – but with the humility of knowing that I am deserving of nothing I have gained or achieved, and that it is my life and not my language that will testify as to the purity of my faith. This was the authority that Christ claimed, and that He encouraged us also to claim, via our connection to the Father through Him. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21)

I bring to you the cure. It is not by words that a man’s life will be changed. Yes, faith comes by hearing, and words can convince. But these will be worse than useless if a man hears yet does not employ this faith to accept and to DO. We must not be merely “hearers” but “doers,” James 1:22, and for this reason I say look at your lives, and see if it measures up to your faith. For how can we, as Christians, say to the smoker and the drinker, “God’s grace is sufficient for you to quit,” yet at the same time say of ourselves, “We cannot wholly cast off willful sin until Christ returns.” This is hypocrisy. If the words I spoke to you previously have convinced you that the Bible does not support the pre-rapture position, do not then go on holding it and teaching it. When Yah asks, “Where are the sheep I gave to you, for you to be in charge of?” What shall a man who has consciously taught error answer?

Christ is the cure. A man by himself has no strength to resist evil, for as the Scriptures say, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17:9), but we who expect eternity have Christ, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cr 5:17) And this is the prayer of David fulfilled when he begged the Father, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psa 51:10) Through Him, we have always the strength to walk in righteousness, regardless of the cost. For it is not by our efforts we are expected to forsake all: financial success, friends, even family if needs be. For all of us, both Christian and those not yet brought into the fold, the promise is made, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cr 12:9) We need only trust this, and let the Word of God convince us of the way in which we should walk.

I have given the evidence, by the grace of Yah, and so now I am told to speak boldly, worrying not for my reputation – for His reply to me was, “Your reputation is hid in me.” And if the dead know nothing, and if through Christ the “old man” is in the grave, how can I continue to have reservations of what the world will think of me? So let me speak boldly, and prove the Scriptures true in my life, as I encourage you all to do also. I brought to you the “letter” of this matter, and now here is the “spirit” of it:

Let us examine the story of Cain and Abel. These two brothers, both children of the once-perfect first pair, Adam and Eve, were in all things equal. In regards to physical and mental strength, they had the same background; and they had the same Godly upbringing, from the two humans who first knew the love of Yah. They had the same “genetic dispositions” and the same inherited sin nature, at it’s equivalent strength, one generation down from the fall. Yet one chose to reject the mercy of heaven, and one chose to accept the promised sacrifice of Christ to redeem him from his fallen state.

Oh yes, the doctrine of salvation through Christ was very much taught in the earliest times. For what was the death of animals as early as Genesis 3:21 for but to ever remind humans of the penalty of transgression? The man and his wife were clothed in skins, in the covering of dead animals, to show them the nature they had “put on” themselves. Yet at the same time, they were instructed to slay an animal from time to time, as a promise that another would someday be chosen to die for their sins. That another One could die for their sins.

The question has often been asked, what made Abel’s sacrifice more righteous than Cain’s? What was so terrible about an offering of fruit? Cain brought the first and best of his labor, just as Abel did. Wasn’t that as good a sacrifice? The answer is this... Cain brought the first and best of his labor. That’s exactly the point. Abel and Cain both brought their best offerings, but Abel slew the “firstling of his flock.” (Gen 4:4) Both had put the effort, but only Abel had respect to the fact that it was not by HIS efforts that an offering is made acceptable to Yah, but by the blood of another. Cain willfully rejected the promised provisions, and determined to show himself “worthy” before the Father. Instead of asking his brother for an animal to bring before the Lord (as kind and Godly Abel would gladly have done), Cain let pride and jealousy puff him up to the degree that he would force his own efforts upon Yah regardless of the explicit instructions given to them by their earthly and heavenly teachers.

It was not because Cain’s actual sacrifice was unworthy that it was rejected, but because of the spirit in which it was offered. But even though Cain was in the wrong, Yah gave Him an opportunity to repent and present a true sacrifice – a broken heart, not anything made or raised by hands. “And the Lord said unto Cain, ‘Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.’” (Gen 4:6,7) But Cain would not submit. Believing that it was because of some special merit his brother possessed that he was accepted, Cain’s jealousy grew even greater.

Just as Yah had predicted, when Cain did not repent, sin crept into the door of his heart, and opened up a connection between the stubborn human and the insinuations of Satan. “Is it blood God desires?” the tempter whispered in his ear, “Then blood he shall have!” Abel was not oblivious to what was happening to his older brother’s spirit, and tried desperately to reason with him. But his kind and logical entreaties served only to enrage his brother more, as we saw happen later with the deacon Stephen before the Jewish council. And Cain gave his heart fully over to evil, and thus the first man born from woman became a murderer. (Gen 4:8)

But how he had been decieved! It is not our blood the Father wants! It was to spare our blood that He sent His own Son to die in our place. “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.” (Isaiah 1:11) Cain’s sin was not in the offering, but in rejecting the promised sacrifice of Christ. The Father does not want blood to be shed, but it needed to be shed until the death of the Messiah for the covenant to be preserved. Rituals, even those as prophetic and vivid as the animal sacrifices were, are useless if not done in the right spirit. For rejecting Yah’s salvation, and for this reason alone, was Cain cursed. Whenever one makes an attempt to be righteous by his own works, he is grieving the Holy Spirit, which seeks to lead us into the truth that justification is by faith. If one persists in this course, as Mark 3:29 teaches us, we can never stand before the Father.

In the last days, Scripture tells us, “men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” and so on. (2 Ti 3:2) We will see the same spirit Cain manifested present in its full measure with those who have rejected the salvation of Heaven and the doctrine of Yah. Just as in the days before the flood, when Yah declared, “My spirit shall not always strive with man, “(Gen 6:3) so He warns us that His grace will not always abide with those who persist in loving themselves above the truth of God. There will not always be opportunity for repentance; this call to mercy will be given until the last possible instant, but when the door of the ark is shut, then only judgment will remain. This IS imminent, despite what faulty doctrine teaches. We must be right with Yah NOW, “For He saith, ‘I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee:’ behold, now the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Cr 6:2)

And I have been shown this: As it was with Cain, so it will be for those in the last days. For those who desire to become “bloodless” sacrifices, untried by fire and unsanctified through tribulation, these shall become the true believers’ greatest enemies. Those who seek to escape from the refining of their souls, as silver in fire, will rise up against “Abel” and seek to strike him dead. The pre-tribulation doctrine teaches that the church will not be on earth during the tribulation. The Bible teaches otherwise. In Revelation, the Word says that after the sealing of the righteous (Rev 7), disasters will occur that will destroy a third of mankind by natural cataclysms, (Rev 8:11) and a third part will die because of supernatural judgments (Rev 9:15-18). Of the remaining third, not all of these either are righteous, for it says in Rev 9:21, “Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”

For this reason a final “refining process” is called for. This is described in prophecy. “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, ‘It is my people:’ and they shall say, ‘The LORD is my God.’” (Zec 13:9) It is not to see who is righteous that this refining is done. Yah already knows all who are true to Him, and this was accomplished at the sealing. The fire is to separate the “wheat from the tares.” Of the unrighteous, John says “neither repented they” of their sins. At that point, those who persisted in error are marked as surely as was Cain, but the church is NOT physically separated from the world until they are brought through the fire of tribulation.

Let no man decieve you. Christ Himself taught this very thing. In parable, He made it very clear that the godly and ungodly would dwell together on earth until the very end. There would be no “calling away” before the last test. Let those who read this consider it my final and most authoritative evidence, for it is the word of the Redeemer Himself. If the spirit in which I am writing is not enough to show you the validity of my words, you have here one last attempt to give heed to the words of Scripture, spoken from Yahshua and recorded by Matthew in his Gospel.

“Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, “Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?” He said unto them, “An enemy hath done this.” The servants said unto him, “Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? “ But he said, “Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” (Matthew 13:24-30)

I have not changed a word, nor added commentary within it. Christ taught that the wheat and tares would not be separated until the “time of harvest,” about which Revelation declares, “And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, ‘Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’” (Revelation 14:15) This occurs WAY after the Pre-Tribulation doctrine teaches that the church will be taken from the earth. Such a thing cannot be. Will the wheat or tares be gathered before the harvest? “Nay,” says Yah Almighty.

But even more than this, Christ Himself thought it fitting to explain the parable given above more clearly, so that we who know the truth about the last days are not left to appear as if we were following a “private interpretation.” In that same chapter of that same book, Yahshua calls His disciples aside and, after giving the parable to the multitude, gives His followers its explicit meaning. “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 13:38-43)

Christ spoke often in parables, but this point, He felt, was so important that He told them exactly what His symbols meant. The good seed ARE the children of God. The tares ARE the children of the Devil. And... the harvest IS the end of the world. How can any sophistry of human speech think to counter this? “Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

When the trials fall upon the earth, and those who cling to this poisonous doctrine realize they have been deceived, many will choose the path of Cain. Their anger and great despair will cause some of them to be among the greatest persecutors in those dark times. They will fall upon their brethren and seek to strike them down, heeding Satan’s lies that by their own works they can justify their position. But all is not hopeless. Those who have been truly deceived, and who had not an opportunity to see the truth – these will be the very last from which the rays of mercy will be withdrawn. These will have the longest time, and the most loving entreaties in which to repent and divorce themselves from the traditions of men.

But those who have seen the evidence of the Bible, confirmed by the conviction of the Holy Spirit, these must not delay. The time is NOW, the situation is most imminent indeed, and the “blessed hope” is promised to those who follow the true doctrine, not thinking of their own reputations (as I have been recently reminded by Him); correcting even those in the highest positions, if their teachings should err. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” (Titus 2:11-15)

Do not run from the trials ahead of you. Flee rather unrighteousness, selfishness, spiritualism, false teachings, faulty interpretations of prophecy and the desire to have someone else’s opinions save your soul. These things we are commanded to flee. But of suffering, the Bible does not teach cowardice, it rather gives encouragement to those in a time of trouble. “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” (Rev 2:10) This is a message to a specific church, and does not say that all believers will need to be faithful unto death during the last battle. Paul teaches there WILL be many left alive at the end. But the Scripture teaches we must be willing to give our all, for the sake of the world, if it must be that way.

The universe is most interested in seeing us display our faith in the last days. I also am eager for it – not that I am eager to suffer, but that I will give public demonstration of my faith, fulfilling the promises of Christ in my life, and claiming the “blessed hope,” that I have been promised. I do not wait for Christ to call me to Heaven. He has done so already, and my spirit has found its rest. I have learned to be content in a “green tree” season and a dry. I do not look forward to death, nor do I expect it. But I know the trial is coming, and it is my honor to stand forth with Christ’s courage to face it.

Of being caught away, that is my hope also, but not until all we can possibly do is done. We have labor yet to do in the field! Who would rather be living in comfort than working for the salvation of other human beings? Those who do shall be shamed before man and angel. But not us. Not we who choose to give our lives over to Yah that He may do His work through us. “But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when He that bade thee cometh, He may say unto thee, ‘Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.’” (Luke 14:10) Flee not humble efforts and labor. Christ is coming soon. Let us make haste to be ready, for His love is a fire, and His desire for us is intense. When we can breathe the very atmosphere of Heaven, then shall we be like Elijah and Enoch. Then shall we be prepared, for nothing in Heaven will force us to be good. That claim of spiritual slavery was Lucifer’s, and I will have no part of it.

Just as we will choose always to do good there, so must we choose NOW always to do good. This is the Victory over the world that Christ gave us, the gift of undefiled salvation that is there to be claimed by any that will have it. Any distractions and faulty doctrine Satan throws at the church will only make it clearer. It IS possible, it IS attainable: you need only believe in Yahshua’s name. This is the cure, and the cure is Christ.

David.
