Tommorrow

Among those who find the bible to clearly teach victory over sin, there are those who, when faced with the irrefutable scripture of the matter, accept it as truth that Yah can heal us from all known sin; to create in us a new nature, restoring us to freedom from all known wrongdoing, forever.

And among those who find this truth, are those who claim that while this is true, it will be accomplished someday in the future - that they will, at some point, stop sinning. But, they say, not today. "We will do it in the future" they say, "but now is not the appointed time." "We will do it when times are easier" they say, while times grow closer to the coming destruction. "When it is safer," they say, when times grow more dangerous for those not surely sealed in their faith.

This poison is even more deadly than the belief that we cannot stop sinning to begin with. Which are you more likely to ingest unknowingly, a large green barrel marked "TOXIC" in bold red letters, or a peice of altogether good and wholesome fruit, with a small amount of that same toxin injected into the peel? Which of the two is harder to detect? Which of the two would you be most easily warned to avoid?

The closer to the truth a lie is the more deadly it is, and nothing could be further from the truth while being oh so close to it, than to claim that Yah can indeed heal us from sin, that He will indeed heal us from sin, but that the promised healing will always take place "tomorrow."

Some have claimed that it will not happen until the end of time, or near to the end; that we cannot stop sinning until an appointed time. We know these to be lies from the pits of hell, for the scripture plainly declares, "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Cor. 6:2)

We know that the apostles were not living in times closer to the end than we were. We know that the scriptures were not penned in the future and transported to us. So then, how can any say that we will not stop sinning until right up to the end when the very authors of the scripture which *tell us* we can and should stop sinning, lived 2000 years ago? We know, for the scripture says, that "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst." (Amos 8:11-13)

Does this sound like the time of the earth in which we should just be buying the oil for our lamps? The time in which Yah's people are just presently being born? Does this sound like our loving Creator, to throw newborn babes into the most strife-filled and troubling persecution in history? Recall the parable of the ten virgins:

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut." (Matt. 26:1-10)

And yet what does the world say today, what do these wells without water claim? Not only do they disregard the words of scripture, but they speak *completely contrary* to them by stating that we are to wait until 11:59, the minute before midnight to buy our oil. They find their lamps empty when they arise, and what do they do, but seek those that sell, to buy for themselves? And while they go out to buy, the bridegroom shall come, and the door shall be shut. What is the end of these foolish virgins?

"Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." (Matt. 26:11-13)

Does "Watch, for ye know neither the day nor the hour" sound like a command to wait and tarry til dark? Note further that what constituted the wise virgins in the coming was the fact that they had enough oil, and they had it *previously.* What constituted the foolish virgins was that they did not have oil, and they *waited* to get that which they needed. This and this alone showed the division between the two classes in that parable, and as it was spoken from the Master's lips on this very topic, we had best pay careful attention to His warnings indeed! What does it mean to be ready, how are we to be prepared? Well, going back to 2 Cor. 6:2, we remember the scripture states that "now is the day of salvation." What does our Lord say of salvation, of being ready for the coming Kingdom?

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." (John 3:3-7)

Just what does it mean to be born of the Spirit? We know that to be born of the Spirit and to be born of God are one and the same, for "The Lord is that Spirit" (2 Cor. 3:17) So if then we are to be ready and waiting, if then today is the day of salvation, IF then salvation is only to those who are born of God, what does it mean to be born of God??

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (1 John 3:9-10)

Oh, how clear and swift the answer comes to the seeking ear. Today is the day of salvation. Not tommorow. Today, now, this second. Salvation is to be born of God, and to be born of God is to cease from sin. Are you ready?

Just how long is it proposed we are to wait? Just how long do we wait before preparing for the bridegroom? Did Noah enter into the ark as the first raindrops fell, or was he SEALED and ready in the ark an entire week before the first sign of impending judgment? Truly, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the last times, as those around us cry "tommorow," waiting until the rain begins to fall before seeking entrance into the safety of the living ark. They will find it sealed shut. Do not be among them.

Scripture says, regarding when we are to walk in Him, that "the oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life."

How long does it say? Does it say that we will walk in righteousness for a short season before the end? No. "All the days of our life" is the Word of scripture and the promise of Christ, the Word that no man can ever change.

We find scripture declares plainly that "they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." (Romans 8:8-9)

The Spirit has been here since Pentecost, and we have had the ability to claim freedom all along, through the power of the "lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Rev. 8:13) It is not in the future. We are by no means to wait in order to please God, which can ONLY be done by those living in the Spirit, those who are Christ's. Those who do not commit sin. The world says "stay dead in sin, please God later." Scripture says over 2000 years ago, "Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more." (1 Thess. 4:1)

The world says "Stay asleep, wait for the knock to awake you." The Word says "Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Cor. 15:34)

To their shame! Oh how those who presently say "tommorow" should be flushing with red. Does the Word say wait until another appointed time, or does it say AWAKE, Now, present tense, today? Does it say tommorow is the day of salvation, or now is the day of salvation? Does it say we shall walk in Him for a season, or for our lives?

The world may say these things, yet "nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless." (2 Peter 3:13-14)

"Wait" is the single most deadly word in Satan's vocabulary, and "Sin no more" are among the most powerful in Christ's. Will you yet mix the poison with the bread of life? Will you drop in the toxins of Satan with the healing of the Lord? What is it then? "I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

No man can serve two masters. No man can follow both Christ and Satan.

The Lord says "Go, and sin no more." (John 5:14, 8:11)

The Liar says "Wait."

Choose you THIS day whom ye will serve.
