Dear Pastor McGill:
I have received and read with interest your February 11 letter. I remain unpersuaded by your arguments.
When responding to your personal correspondence I did not expect my letters would be published. I would not, out of respect for your privacy, publish your letters to me. However, I have said nothing of which to be ashamed of; I have spoken both the truth and my conscience. Do whatever your sense of propriety requires.
