The World's Mark of Approval
For the General Conference Corporation SDA Church
"None may trade in religious goods and services without the mark of approval from the world's great men." (paraphrase of Rev. 13:17)
- "The Mark of the Beast": Revelation 13:17; 14:11
- The "mark" of a "religious pro":
No, the "R" in the above "mark" does not represent ROME. And the business giant, Rawlings, is not associated with "the beast of Rome", the "mark of the beast", or any apostate religious institution, so far as we know. However, when "the kings of the earth" (Rev. 18:3) "mark" a religious organization as a "religious pro", the discerning mind quickly makes the connection between a church trademark and "the mark of the beast."

GC to Enter Trademark Case in New York
Adventist Review, Newsbreak, January 1998
"There will be more and still more external parade by worldly powers. Under different symbols, God presented to John the wicked character and seductive influence of those who have been distinguished for their persecution of His people. The eighteenth chapter of Revelation speaks of mystic Babylon, fallen from her high estate to become a persecuting power. Those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus are the object of the wrath of this power."
[Rev. 18:1-8 quoted] (MS 135, 1902).
